The ICDAR2025 Organizing Committee invites proposals for workshops that will be held prior to the ICDAR 2025 main conference. Researchers interested in organizing workshops at ICDAR 2025 are invited to submit a proposal, including the following information:
Title of the workshop
Preferred duration (full day or half day)
Workshop date (Please select either September 20, or 21, 2025)
Scope and motivation
Topics
Relevance for ICDAR.
Potential committee members.
Short CV of the organizers (1 short paragraph each).
Workshop proposals should focus on topics related to document analysis and recognition, interdisciplinary topics involving scientific and other application areas, or emerging areas. This includes topics from related fields such as machine learning, computer vision and artificial intelligence that are used for document analysis. Workshops for discussions on the evolving nature of documents, and the application of document analysis systems and related industrial solutions are also welcome.
Notes
Workshop organizers are expected to manage their technical programs, invite experts in the domain to participate (e.g., as an invited speaker), and to maintain a website for the workshop. Workshop registration and logistics will be handled by the ICDAR main conference organizers, and will include registration, providing workshop space, coffee breaks and other required facilities (e.g. a room, a projector, and a screen). In addition, a free registration will be provided one organizer for each workshop.
If a workshop incurs costs for invited speakers, the workshop organizers are required to cover those costs. Workshop organizers may solicit sponsorship to cover such costs, and may use their free workshop registration for their invited speaker.
All accepted workshop papers must be registered for ICDAR 2025 and presented (either as an oral or poster presentation), with registration fees to be determined according to the registration information on the official ICDAR 2025 website.
The camera-ready paper due date for workshop papers will be June 1, 2025.
Proceedings
The ICDAR 2025 workshop proceedings will be published through the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series, and the proceeding costs will be borne by the ICDAR main organizers.
